Lunchbox World on BBC Business News online
You may have seen the BBC Business News online article where I shared my top budget lunch box tips, which started the day off on a whirlwind… I awoke with trepidation. Had the BBC article gone live? I searched on the BBC website, found the article and had read the article all by 630am!
I was then contacted early morning to line up the radio interviews! It was surreal and I loved every minute of it! I kept pinching myself as I went from one radio station to the next! I wonder if I have truly found my calling!
For those of you new to Lunchbox World, let’s re-wind a little and share my mission and how I am here to help YOU.
About Lunchbox World – what’s the mission?
Why am I doing this? What’s it all about? I have 3 kids and I’ve been packing lunch boxes since 2005, when I had no choice but to pack lunch boxes for my kids. There was no option for school dinners. So I founded Lunchbox World. Read all about me here.
My overarching mission is to help young parents equip themselves for packing healthy lunch boxes for their kids.
To inspire, excite them but above all, I’m here to help you/ young parents to reconnect with your/their kids, the kids with food and the parents with their kids and families.
We all want healthy happy kids that thrive in life and that we’ve helped set up for life!

In the budget lunch box series, I’ve initially set the budget at £2 a lunch box, which is cheaper than the average price of a school dinner in the UK. But I know some of you want me to hit that £1 a lunch box price point, so the challenge will continue! Watch this space and if you’ve subscribed, then you’ll be notified!
