This year we’re popping round to friends,
new friends,
taking the evening as it comes,
the brood included…

Things turn out to be huge fun!
In previous years we’ve had a quiet one,
sometimes watching the neighbours’ fireworks,
but always different
and always wondering what the New Year will bring…
