Who’s Moved My Shoes?

November 22, 2011 by Caroline Job 3 Comments

You know those days when things just aren’t going well.
You’re running late.
Kids won’t do as they’re told.
You’re showered, dressed. Got your coat on, but where oh where are the shoes…
You know you took them off some place, but where… ?

You trudge around, lifting odd shoes in the vain search for your own…
Hunt in the lounge, under the pile of coats, hats, scarves, gloves that were abandoned from the previous day when the brood burst in through the doors after school, dumping their school bags on their way in.
You hear yourself screaming at the kids to get ready for school, they’ll miss the bus…
You know the drill…

Then you look to the skies for inspiration…
and…

Oh…
Really?
How on earth did they get there?

Do share any quirky anecdotes you have, would love to hear them!

The Lunchbox World Team x

And yes, we are still doing the #NaBloPoMo where we blog every day for the month of November.

Do keep coming back and let us know what you like, and well, if you must, what you don’t. We need to know, really we do. *Shifts nervously in chair*

And to see our latest must have items, hop over to the shop, take a cuppa and have a good browse x

Found you via NaBloPoMo twitter hash tag. Love this post. Many days I'd wish for something as "normal" as a pair of shoes suspended overhead! Delightful.

I seem to be coming across really wierd things lately, and as I'm doing #Nablopomo, in desperate need of inspiration, I then take the snap and store up for quirky posts that make me chortle at any rate. So glad they struck a cord with you both – Ally and Mummy Mishaps, so glad you stopped by! @lunchboxworld x
