How many colours does the Yumbox Presto lunch box come in?
Available in five colours, the Yumbox Presto lunch box is the biggest in the yumbox compartment lunch box range, so far, cleverly combining the BPA free plastic lid with a stainless steel base. Being the biggest so far in the leak proof stainless steel bento lunch box from Yumbox, this is perfect for the biggest of lunch time appetites! With 5 compartments, healthy lunches can be packed in moments!

This is slightly larger than the tapas size. As is standard with all yumbox lunch boxes, the silicone seal is a feature around each compartment, sealing in any yogurt or dip into that compartment. As I say, the silicone seal around each compartment in the lid is the feature I love the most and I confirm this is standard for the yumbox. What’s different in this Yumbox compared to the others in the range is the base is made of stainless steel.
Available in the following colours: santa fe blue, remy lavender, tulum blue, kale green and rose pink.
I have to say the colours of Yumbox are what I love as they donot seem to fade with age and over time. They seem to stay true to their colour. Just be sure to look after your yumbox and store ideally out of direct sunlight.
So now to the lunch box yumbox presto review:

What’s not so good?
I’m really struggling to find anything not so good to say about the product. The presto lunch box size is definitely for your larger appetite, on a similar scale to the yumbox tapas size.
If I really had to find something not so good then it is this:
- a shame that the star area is shallower than the rest of the lunch box? It could have been deep enough to hold a small fromage frais or yogurt. This is the only disappointing bit for me. Perhaps they were trying to keep the overall weight of the lunch box down or maybe there is some other reason. If you know the reason why the star area is so shallow or have any ideas, comment below and let me know!
- But at least you can pop in some sweet treats here or send in a loving note!
- Please note the yumbox is not dishwasher safe – please be sure to hand wash. I would always wash these by hand anyway to give them that extra loving care!
top tip
if using oily foods, our top tip is to dust baking soda in the compartments and leave to absorb any moisture. Make it into a paste so it can remove any oily residue. Leave overnight before then rinsing off with soapy water. Be sure to rinse repeatedly to remove any trace of oil and dry thoroughly before packing your lunch box as normal. Do this weekly to keep your lunch box looking nice 🙂
Cute LOVE letter wrap lunch box idea using the Presto Yumbox lunch box in rose pink
Overall, if you check out all the lunch box ideas on the Lunchbox World YouTube channel you will see I use the yumbox alot! I just love the compartments – for me, it’s a great way for portion control and increasing the amount of variety that is possible inside a lunch box, without all the foods hitting each other. This is something I know alot of kids like – food not touching each other in the lunch box.
