Lunch Box Dilemmas – What Tasty Treat for January?

January 3, 2012 by Caroline Job Leave a Comment

Perhaps some kids are heading back to school today after the Christmas break and for those preparing packed lunches, our thoughts return to those lunch boxes…
Ours go back tomorrow, but that’s soon enough.
So the big question: how to keep them going until home time?

In the winter months, we always think of Soreen and the delicious malt loaf, as we head for those winter comforts and what’s great is they’ve recently introduced their brand new Snackers – a new way to ensure lunch boxes and treat drawers are bursting with squidgy energy!

A perfect treat for the lunch box this January

Available in two flavours – the Original Malt Load and Fruity Five, they contain five handy individually wrapped slices, so they can be enjoyed on the go as a snack, or as a tasty safisfying lunch time treat – for both adults and kids alike.
The Fruity Five Snackers are packed full of five types of fruit: raisins, sultanas, cherries, orange and lemon rind, while the Original Snackers feature the unity malty taste and are full to the brim with raisins.

With under 90 calories per slice, and low in fat, as well as being high in energy, means they are a perfect kick start to the New Year, and they provide a healthier alternative snack to keep those on the go full of energy all day long!

Available exclusively from Asda stores nationwide, so you’ll need to find the closest one to you, if you’re keen to try these out.

What’s your favourite winter treat for your lunch box?
