Finish Quantumatic – Lunchbox Delight?

April 2, 2011 by Caroline Job Leave a Comment

Most definintely!

If you’ve been following our blog, you’ll know that we keep thinking up new challenges for our new found friend, the Finish Quantumatic gadget, that has now become part of the fittings in our dishwasher.

King Julien was helping with the speedy tea required on a heavy after-school activity day, whilst I quickly caught up with orders, emails, at the end of the day.
Smell not being my strongest sense, I didnot smell the burning, the beans were sticking to the pan, and big time.
“Wow!” I thought! “A new challenge for the Finish Quantumatic, no matter, we won’t soak it, we’ll just pop it in the dishwasher later.”
So as they say, pictures speak louder than words, the before shot, ie one layer of beans caked on to the pan:

You’ll also notice a frying pan in the background, which we’d purposefully left sitting around for a couple of days, with home-made tomato pasta sauce totally dried on and set hard to the bottom of the pan.

And the after shot, after one cycle in the dishwasher:

Can you just see that shine? OK we are being totally honest here, on this occasion, there is the black bit but that just picked off easily with my fingers, the rest was sparkling clean.  Where all the beans vanished to, I have no idea!
Being known as the Lunchbox Lady locally – in our Post Office, at school, in the village and all, we always put all our lunch boxes, drinking bottles into the dishwasher, and we purposefully buy only items that are dishwasher safe.  I am sure I am not seeing things, when I say they too are getting that increased shine, clean, sparkle, glint to their sheen with every wash/cycle. Just take a look at the colour and shine we are getting every time and I am sure that “brand new” sparkle is returning:
If you fancy buying some of these fun, colourful and totally dishwasher safe, freezer safe, and microwave safe lunch boxes with matching drinking bottles, do pop over to the Lunchbox World Shop to see the full range.  As you can see, we test all the products we sell in the online shop!
Back to Finish Quantumatic, we have completed the 12 washes that one of these refills does in the gadget, and have just popped in the new refill.  Again this is a very simple task.
We have also purposefully allowed both the rinse aid and the salt to run dry, as we were told at the briefing, we don’t need these in addition to using the Finish Quantumatic gadget with refills. These are all-in-one products, so it is not necessary to fill the rinse aid and salt.
Here is the proof, the lights glowing red on our dishwasher (you can see we are now taking this challenge very very seriously) – both salt and the rinse aid are empty, and red lights glowing extra brightly now:
