Fruit Flakes on Review

May 5, 2009 by caroline Leave a Comment

272We really love the “Fruit Flakes” range by Fruit Bowl. They are real pieces of concentrated fruit, made from more than 3 times their own weight in real fruit, with natural colours

Fruit Flakes by Fruit Bowl are real pieces of concentrated fruit, made from more than 3 times their own weight in real fruit, with natural colours. They come in a range of flavours, from strawberry to blackcurrant in 25g bags.

Available in most supermarkets, they come in individual bags or in packs of 5.

What’s good:
Schools let the children eat them at break-time, as they would a piece of fruit
Part of your 5 a day
A great addition to the lunchbox
Kids can eat that extra piece of “fruit” without realising it!
What’s not so good:
They are made in a factory where there may be traces of nuts.
Those without the yoghurt coating were the least favourite, so just check out the bags and labelling before purchase.
