Chosen to be VIP Member of Higgidy Pies!

Last Wednesday evening I took part in the Higgidy Pies Twitter party, organised by Foodies 100 and I am so glad I did! The end result: Lunchbox World was chosen to be a VIP Member of Higgidy Pies!
It was an opportunity to talk pie for a whole hour! We talked about our favourite pie flavours, what tips we have for successful pie making, quick cheats for using up left overs, popping a pie lid or dumplings on the top and loads more.And the net result? I was chosen by Foodies100 to be a VIP Member of Higgidy Pies amongst all those that took part in the Twitter party!
So what arrived in the post yesterday? A box full of Higgidy pies, quiches and quiche slices, all perfect additions to a lunch box less ordinary! So tonight we’ll be eating pie, and not just any pie: A Higgidy Pie, made with love. This week it’s British Beef, Stilton and Sussex Ale pie and we’ll serve it up with a bucket full of chips!

This has to be one of my favourite parts of the Autumn and Winter months : eating heart warming food in a cosy kitchen, surrounded by family!
